Description
B S A
This is a very tidy English boxlock non ejector made by the renowned English firm BSA. Although later known for their motorbikes the firm first started making firearms, their logo is three rifles, and stands for Birmingham Small Arms Ltd.
The action is plain without much detailing but is dark as one would expect of a field gun.
The gun has an English style oiled stock reasonably free from scratches or marks with a 13 ¼ inch length of pull and a grooved butt end. There are a few dints in the chequering.
The barrels are in good condition inside and out are nitro proofed, with a flat file rib and sighting bead.
This gun is good value at the price and is an opportunity to own a small piece of our heritage.
