Description

This is top quality shotgun from a well known London maker. The action is a drop edge sidelock engraved with floral and scroll motif and featuring the manufacturers name in a banner. The barrels have been sleeved with the original rib engraved with the address of Queen Victoria St. London dating the gun between 1879-1894. The bores are near perfect, choked ½ and ¾ fitting the action with dolls head extension giving a third bite. The fore-end has an early W. Anson patent push rod fitting. The gun has probably been restocked at some point but this does mean it looks near new with crisp chequering and at 15.25” will suit the taller sportsman.
