Description
For sale is my Much loved 1943 Lee Enfield No 4 Service Rifle.
It has been converted to a single shot .410 with a 3" chamber. The single shot are much more desirable than the odd few that were multi shot (they refuse to cycle .410 carts) where as this chambers, fires and ejects absolutely perfectly.
It bears the "FTR" mark, which stands for factory total rebuild. This was completed on all returned service rifles at the end of the war, so you know this rifle has seen some action. The rebuild usually compromises new firing pins, extractors and other parts that may have worn.
The bore is bright with no pitting
Comes with a sling and even has the original oil bottle in the butt stock.
These are very, very hard to come by. even more so in this condition. So if you want to add this rather special gun to your collection be quick
