Description
Here we have a very good Armalite AR-7 .22LR cal survival rifle in its original box (a rare find). Originally manufactured by Armalite between 1959 and 1973, production continues to this day by various manufacturers (Charter Arms 1974 - 1990, Survival Arms 1990 - 1997, Henry Repeating Arms 1997 and AR-7 Industries 1998 - present). This one however is one of the original Armalites. It is in very good condition throughout and comes with a spare magazine and handbook. The gun was designed for use by downed American pilots during the Vietnam war.
The rifle was made famous in the James Bond movie 'From Russia with Love' when it was used by Bond and Kerim Bey to shoot the Bulgarian assassin Krilencu.
