Steyr Luxus in .308 calibre. Older model. In excellent cosmetic order, barley twist barrel. Crisp, beautiful single set trigger. Screwcut 1/2" UNEF. Spigot has been added to the screwcut to allow better shouldering of reflex moderators as the steyr twist barrel has very little shoulder, but could be removed if required. Includes steyr swing-off mounts. 3-round box magazine. Very slight barrel wear if I'm being very fussy. Groups an easy 1/2" at 100yds with homeloads. Beautiful rifle to handle, shoot and generally look at lovingly :) Moderator also available by seperate negotiation. More pics on request.

A well informed chap has reliably told me that the engraving on the top of the barrel is where the open sights would have been. This has been done very nicely. These were obviously removed for screwcutting. The barrel has been really nicely refinished and has solid deep blacking to a high standard. It is unlikely to be the original length due to removal of the fore sight.
I bought this a few months ago because it just felt and looked so very nice :) and it just sat in my RFD for quite a while before I finally picked it up. I've only shot paper targets with it. I just tend to use my 7x57 for all my stalking and so just can't justify keeping a rifle because its pretty!
