Description

For sale is a dobson and rosson sxs for restoration. It has patent crystal cocking indicators with gold washed tumblers, patent block safety and patented cocking rods. It has a purdey thumbhole triggerguard and push lever to open it. This has had the screws drilled out at some point so is not currently atached. It is in need of an extractor, i have been in contact with glyon and sons who bought out dobson and rossons and they say they are able to make a new one, however i do not know how much it would cost. The barrels are in reasonable shape. They are damascus tbat at some point has been blacked. This is wearing thin now, so in my opinion would benefit from being rebrowned. The action is nicley engraved with scroll work and the wood work is battered n worn, needs stripping back and refinishing, however it looks a nice piece of walnut, no cracks etc.

Also for sale is the dan arms o/u single trigger ejector. The top lever is not springing quite back to center and the bottom ejector needs regulating as it currently ejects too early and will fowl the action if the barrels are opened slowly.
